“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth, Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

The Great Commission, quoted above, has been the guide that we have followed throughout our adult life. It has given us a framework to make decisions and evaluate our lives. From college (Mike at Penn State and Deborah at Moody Bible Institute) it shaped our direction and provided passion to our labors. When we married in 1973, we prayed that the Lord would use us to help fulfill His Commission.
During our twenty years in the U. S. Navy serving as Associate Staff with Campus Crusade for Christ, we saw the fruits of changed lives while we worked after hours and on weekends with servicemen and their families. It was His will that we leave the engineering field after retirement and become fulltime vocational Christian missionaries.
Within Campus Crusade for Christ we served with FamilyLife, the Military Ministry, US Field ministry, headquarters and finally Athletes in Action. Each step we used our spiritual gifts and energy to serve the worldwide movement of the Holy Spirit.
During each assignment we modified and enhanced our conference and event planning skills and knowledge. The last four years with AIA, we worked closely with the International Sports Coalition, a group of over two hundred ministries that seek to use the platform of sport to accelerate the gospel around the world. We served as conference and events administrators.
We now believe that God is moving us out from under Campus Crusade for Christ to maximize our time and outreach. We have joined the Global Events Group, a group of missionaries that uses major world sports events to reach the world for Jesus Christ. This ministry is directly involved with the International Sports Coalition.
Our last day with Campus Crusade for Christ was February 3, 2009. We are your ambassadors to the world of sports ministry.
